When Australian-based Azzura Marine recently added the Marten Yachts range of sailing yachts to its already impressive marine interests, it was with the express purpose of re-launching one of the world’s most respected marine brands. Azzura Marine has undertaken with the support of Steve Marten to continue the vision of Marten Yachts.

 The Marten Yachts name has become synonymous with world-class yachting, largely due to its yachts performance at major international competitions including America’s Cup, Whitbread and other round the world racing. Azzura Marine believes their relationship with Marten Yachts will deliver unique sailing yachts that encompass the best in design and will be built using the latest construction technologies. Striking the right balance between performance and comfort in the highly competitive cruiser/racer market, the Marten Yachts range of Reichel/Pugh designed yachts provides Azzura Marine with great confidence for a successful future.

The range includes the Marten 49, Marten 67, Marten 72 and Marten 85. In line with the arrival of the first international boat shows for 2006, comes the welcoming back of Marten Yachts to the European market. Azzura Marine has reached an agreement with Ancasta International Boat Sales to undertake the role as the authorised UK and European dealer for Marten Yachts. Furthermore, Ancasta provides a superior brokerage service as well as yacht maintenance support.

 Azzura Marine has wasted no time in providing for the discerning marine market. Two new Marten 49 yachts are currently under construction at its facilities in Australia. The official re-launch of the Marten Yachts brand is expected to take place upon delivery of the yachts in July 2006.
